Tribute to Dr T. Berry Brazelton

Dr T Berry Brazelton has passed away this March at the age of 99. He was a pioneer in the world of paediatrics, the foundation of his work was to show that newborn behaviour has meaning and purpose. He influenced research on brain development and on the importance of the early years of life for lifelong development and health. Brazelton has had a huge influence on our Birthlight teachings, last year several of the tutors attended the Neonatal Behavioural Observation training helping parents to understand and communicate with their own babies. We celebrate his life's work and how it will influence generations to come.

The Brazelton Centre UK celebrated its twentieth anniversary (1997-2017) with a dazzling and informative day conference held at the Møller Centre at Churchill College in Cambridge on 21st September 2017.  Conference review >
