List of benefits for your clients when teaching a Birthlight class

Toddler yoga enhances physical wellbeing and stimulates language, listening and developmental skills, but also nourishes the spirit and strengthens family bonds. During the transition to independent movement when toddlers’ physical contact with their parents is often diminished, toddler yoga supports loving and playful contact and provides a positive shared experience to carry young families through what can be a challenging time as they tackle tantrums and boundary testing. Parents are re-connected with their own inner child, their creativity and intuition.

  • Promotes strength and flexibility
  • Provides the foundation for a healthy lifestyle
  • Sustains loving and playful contact and communication
  • Provides a positive shared routine
  • Provides an opportunity for parents to exercise and have fun with their children
  • Supports integrated development and self - confidence
  • Creates circles of friendship.

Please practice yoga regularly, preferably by attending a weekly local class, to further your understanding of yoga, particularly if you come from a non-yoga background.

Be prepared for your coursework by planning your venue and parents/toddlers pairs! You will need at least 3 parent and toddler pairs over 5 sessions.
